Bechange is looking to recruit a lean consultant to support its expanding team and client base.
Job specification
The primary role of a lean consultant will be to work with Bechange partners to evaluate, lead and execute transformation projects for our clients.
Duties and responsibilities
Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Developing and leading process improvement initiatives within client companies to optimize business processes
• Consulting with business leaders to identify relevant internal, client and external processes for optimisation
• Supporting project selection, scoping, delivery and reviewing to ensure effective application of lean methodology.
• Promoting culture change by sharing best practices for introducing, driving and sustaining lean
• Developing schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, resource allocation plans and other support requirements for process improvement initiatives.
• Communicating progress, escalations, and issue to clients and stakeholders
• Providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Travel to the UK will be a part of this role.
Skills and experience required
• 3 years direct optimisation experience in the services sector
• Bachelor degree in a related field as well as lean/six sigma/project management/business analysis technical qualifications
• Consulting experience in a lean background would be a distinct advantage
• Demonstrated results in delivering bottom line optimisation improvements
• Strong commercial, relationship and client management skills
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to self motivate
• Drive and commitment, strong work ethic with a common sense approach
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications
• Experience of TRIZ would be an advantage
